Rebecca Sturgess – Search Operations Director

About Me
Having started out in this industry with about as much marketing knowledge as a gnat, I have worked my way up from tea-making trainee to Head of Search thanks largely to the staunch support of our director, Stuart, and a lot of late nights, strategy sessions and training. At work I am extroverted, creative and always on the Internet, but behind closed doors I’m happiest with my family, my dogs and a good book (usually accompanied with a good cup of tea!).
- I could read before I could walk, and usually have at least 3 books on the go – 1 “real” book, 1 e-book, and 1 serious business-type book usually lent to me by Stuart!
- I have 2 Labradors and can usually be found shouting their names in the park whilst they joyously disappear over the horizon in pursuit of anything more interesting than I am!
- I dislike potholes, shepherd’s pie, icy mornings and running low on fuel.
- My rules of life to live by are varied, but my motto is “Your life will not be judged by its length, but by your strength”.
